Scentsy Story
Hello from the land of cheese, aka Wisconsin!
My name is Michelle and I hope to be your wax lady!
2024 was my rebirth in Scentsy, my year to be tenacious and vibrant and a better version of myself than I have been in the past. My first Scentsy journey began in August of 2016. I thought I could do it. Had all of the willpower in the world. Or so I thought at the time. I did okay but not to the potential that I knew I could do. And I feel that there were other obstacles in my way.
The following year in 2017, everything in my life changed. My late husband lost his battle with depression. I became a widow and a single mom. Life wasn't easy. Many ups and downs. I was just kind of going with the flow. Not pushing myself like I should have been in so many things because I still had huge weights on my shoulders. A lot of it mentally and still with brick walls in front of me. But I was the one that put a lot of them there and didn't have the courage to break through them.
Fast forward a few years, start reworking on myself, things still aren't the easiest or the greatest, but I'm still pushing along. It's what I had to do. Fast forward a little while more and I've started to put myself first. I still worry about a lot of things, but I realized that I need to worry about me. That I need to do the things that make me happy. That I need to take care of myself. And try to worry less. Not always easy.
My sister from another mister, Patty Wunder, is a phenomenal Scentsy Director and when she moved back to the States from New Zealand, the wheels in my head started to turn a little more. Fast forward a little bit more and she asked if anyone wanted to attend Scentsy World Tour with her in Chicago. I thought to myself, why the heck not. Probably one of the best decisions I've made. It was inspiring, uplifting and overall good for my soul. So, I made the final decision to reinstate as a Scentsy Consultant.
Putting my best foot forward now and in the years to come and hope to achieve a lot of my goals and dreams and to become a great Scentsy consultant. I am in a better headspace than I was the first time around. More determined to make my dreams come true. And a new motto is to stop bullying myself. It doesn't do a person any good!
A little more about me. I have a daughter and a stepson as well as two wonderful grandchildren. I am also now an empty nester!!!! I have sooooo many interests and loves. Reading, writing, cooking (I'm a foodie), tea, thrifting, genealogy (I like hanging out in cemeteries). Yes, I'm a book hoarder (love romance books but just books in general) and not ashamed to admit it! LOL! I love sharks, anything to do with the ocean and water. I get to live right on Lake Michigan! The paranormal and all kinds of spooky things. I also love boybands (don't judge me...lol). I also love anything British.
Scentsy isn't just a world of wax, fragrances and products, it's a support system, a team, a family and I'm so happy to be back and be a part of it.
